ime the inability to take a break is usually rooted in the insecurity that if you don't milk your inspo while you have it, you'll lose it, so it feels like you're wasting opportunity & you don't trust yourself to maintain it voluntarily and when that happens anyway it feeds in as confirmation bias

The most shocking revelations: 1) Google fired employees for simply interacting with the protesters 2) The protesters were put on administrative leave midday so Google could revoke their security badges/access to server, which made it possible to claim they were trespassing.

When I drew this, Roe v. Wade had just been struck down by SCOTUS and I definitely felt angry and anxious about the potential for further erosion of rights in the States. I no longer live there personally, but there's been a global wave of right-wing populism and no-where feels quite safe enough to be quietly compliant. Together we stand or divided we fall: I gladly accept the umbrella label of queer, and this design is about pride in that wider community and being willing to fight for my queer siblings.

I've always loved the werewolf metaphor for bisexuality: not a human, not a wolf; in either form, always a werewolf! (Not straight, not gay; regardless of who they're with, they're always bisexual.)

I am just going to share some of my friends words because they are much more articulate than me

“We’re all really being gaslit and manipulated by Israel and the president of the united states to justify genocide” in reference to news of the hospital bombings in palestine being pinned on misfired rockets from “terrorist” groups, reported by sky news. Many palestinians and international journalists have confirmed the IDF have been committing warcrimes by bombings civilian hospitals

“Are those hostages even alive after what has been done to Palestine by bombing it indiscriminately?” In reference to a tweet by Israels minister for National Security, who threatens to continue bombing Gaza and blocking humanitarian aid while the hostages taken by Hamas have not been released. There was no documented attempt at negotiations from the Israeli government or IDF forces- some reports from Palestine said some hostages were killed via the bombing from the IDF. It is clear from how much Gaza has been bombed over the last 10 days that Israel has not prioritised the safety of its own citizens but does prioritise the obliteration of the Palestinian people.

My friend talks about a Jasbir Paur quote from terrorist assemblages “even in death… the muslim man cannot be laid to rest in some humane manner”. We are constantly seeing a focus on children or women , but the men of Palestine, many of whom are barely 18 according to recorded statistics of the average age of palestines citizens, are also humans and innocent. In this moment we are seeing again the dehumanisation of brown, muslim men and by extension brown muslim people.

“The US just vetoes humanitarian pauses to deliver aid to Gaza” in reference to Biden promising 100 mil USD in aid to Gaza. israel has blockaded the border and no aid has entered in days.
