<div class="field field-field-text"><p>Wafa reports, citing medical sources, that Gaza is facing worsening shortages of medical equipment needed for diagnoses and monitoring of thousands of patients.</p>
<p>According to the sources, 52 percent of medical laboratory equipment-including chemical analysis equipment- has been destroyed, making it impossible to maintain services essential to daily medical care.</p>
<p>They urged for the transfer of modern laboratory equipment into Gaza, warning that the continued deterioriation of laboratory servcies is undermining medical staff's ability to diagnose and treat patients.</p>
