Sad to see that the Assisted Dying Bill is dead. My Grandma has been bedbound with severe dementia for six years now, suffering with no quality of life - and the side effects on my Granddad have been nearly as bad. She would’ve chosen to go in a heartbeat. I know that deeply.

No, the Green Party didn’t suspend somebody for being trans. You can argue the merits of the suspension and whether the process was done properly, but it is incredibly irresponsible to frame it as an attack on trans people.

I don’t think “clanker” is a slur against robots. But I do think its usage is directly tied to people desperately wanting to say a slur, and idk if we should normalise that behaviour.
