I am going to scream. Called about a minor issue with my student loans (new payment was applied to a loan already paid off). I spent 2H on hold, explained my issue and then was put back on hold for 3.5H only to be told that the first person fixed it and they shouldn't have "transferred" my call

Never watch a movie on Pluto TV. Just tried to watch a 2h movie and the clock kept running during ad breaks and then ended at the original runtime. So 5 minutes of ads = 5 minutes cut off the end of the film and there were WAY more than 5 minutes of ads.

Friend gave me an old disc copy of FFXIII and it proves conclusively that I really do not give a shit about the last 15 years of graphics upgrades in games. It’s from 2009 and I think it still looks great. I don’t need photorealistic fire, water or hair. It adds nothing to my experience.

Gladiator 2 is a solid 3.5⭐️ It’s got pacing issues and never does anything surprising which makes the 2.5h a bit of a slog. It can’t stand on its own without the baked in nostalgia but it also doesn’t retroactively ruin the og. Lucius says it best “I don’t have the strength of my father.”
