Recency bias is a powerful thing, so take with a grain of salt - Ace Combat 8 is my second fav of the franchise, below only Zero. I have quibbles with it, some of which I find to be baffling misses, but nothing major. It's a stellar entry in the series

The Message From Deep Space is very quickly becoming one of the smartest games I've ever played, and I'm only half done it. And by smartest I don't mean just a hard as hell puzzler, but genuinely thought provoking and intelligent in what it asks of the player and how it rewards them

The Message From Deep Space is the coolest puzzle game I've played in a long while; highly recommend. Premise is they made a game out of that bit of Project Hail Mary where Ryan Gosling has to learn Rocky's language and it's so well done

I think 8bitdo is a real gem of a company in the current gaming landscape It's crazy they release products that are at OEM levels of quality for anywhere from 20%-33% of the price of OEM controllers, and offer ones for old consoles, too. Before they came around the third party market was pretty bad
