this is a closeup cropped from the previous picture and in it we see Bijoux’ (a black cat) head. You can see a little more clearly that she is lounging on a flat part of the cat bridge. And so it solved some of the optical puzzle. She is staring intently at something below her (probably one of her cat mates).
