I appreciate that Dolly Parton refused to participate in "dress respectability" and, by her own account, modeled her aesthetic after a town "tramp," who she thought was beautiful. …I took the Amazon money to make a feminist TV show. I make an iPhone app that helps people get more exercise. I am a bit dubious of demands for purity in platforms/services, I think it tends to hamstring the good people while letting the awful ones take advantage of whatever tech they like.
