They basically maxed out unsustainable technology. Even the fucking data centers literally run on fossile fuels using gas turbines as the local power grids alone cannot sustain the extremely inefficient "make shit up" machine. And somehow, a lot of people think all of this is just awesome.

And when the AI runs out of human data to consume as everybody is using AI instead of creating something fresh, the AI models start to gradually destroy themselves by quite literally eating their own shit. A great future is ahead of us. :D

I'm not even into vore. One of them just caught me making squirmy noises and suddenly I got recruited into their group for being "fun to tease". But barely anyone ever gets eaten in that group. They merely talk about computers, cars and politics like normal people. Very confusing.

But if you really just need to do this one-off script for this one specific thing if you have cheap access to a model... fair enough? Just remember that none of this is sustainable. LLMs need human input or they will inevitably degrade to a point of becoming nothing but a huge waste of resources.

It takes more time and it is less convenient but it keeps your brain cells active and enables you to come up with new ideas, maybe even unique ones which nobody came up with before.

Technology and knowledge stagnates as we slowly loose the ability to do anything ourselves. If you can, I'd recommend to go the old fashioned way of human interaction. Let other humans help you figure things out and learn from your experiences. This is how our brains are designed to work.

LLMs dilute the pool of human knowledge by endlessly reproducing the knowledge which is already the most prevalent. Eventually, obtaining and spreading new knowledge will become harder and harder the more lazy people get by outsourcing their thinking to a machine.

Even if you take the time to evaluate the results, you will be tempted to accept the output as LLMs are designed to sound competent, even when the code is low quality and comes with side effects you don't even know about yet.

In my opinion, "generative AI" is a one-way street paved with the debris of human creativity. I think the disadvantages outweigh the advantages. It can be used as a tool, but for that to work efficiently, you already need the expertise to evaluate the output.

Wozu Mühe geben wenn man aller Wahrscheinlich nach auch mit hin scheißen davon kommen kann?

Eigentlich würde mir reichen wenn die Dinger einen Tag halten, denn man soll die Teile ja laut Packungsbeilage sowieso täglich wechseln. Aber zumindest die von Wepa aus der Online-Apotheke fangen bei mir teilweise schon nach ein paar Stunden an sich vom Rand her zu lösen.
