I’ve said before that we spent so much time on why Trump won and why Harris lost and not enough time asking why Trump didn’t *lose*, which isn’t the same as why he won. I think asking that might have gotten us to accept the fascism of it all faster.

I don’t talk about real life on Main but my comment requires credentialing: i was at food banks 4x times last month, trying to support etc. Food insecurity is off the charts & I just don’t see anything on the horizon to help people. It’s terrifying. I just come home and sulk and cry and dissociate.
