LaserDisc of the theatrical cut of Star Trek The Motion Picture.
I honestly think one's appreciation of the film depends a lot on how they first saw it; of course there are those who saw it on the big screen upon release (and I'm kinda jealous, but at least I have a few more years until I see Social Security), but LD is a far superior format to VHS or OTA; widescreen vs cropped or pan&scan (though I have an older LD that is cropped), and higher resolution than VHS/Beta and generally better sound. Sure, it doesn't hold a candle to 4k ultra HD, but for a film that is really meant to be a visual feast, it helps to have seen it in the best possible quality
