Bleh hate being sick, Friday's short is liable to be something on the more simple side.

Taking a break from Scooby stuff to post a slightly better version of my short talking about the original trilogy of Star Wars on Laserdisc. Tomorrow I'll be talking about the Boo Brothers!

Today I'm talking about Scooby-Doo & The Ghoul School! Did you know this trio of movies made it to Laserdisc? Will be talking about the other two soon!

Every time I watch a Laserdisc with rot on it, I feel like this...

Superman 2! My favorite Superman movie, this glorious stereo Laserdisc is presented in everyone's "favorite" ratio, Pan & Scan. What's your favorite Superman movie?

Flicky presenting superman 2 on Laserdisc alongside a copy of Uzumaki by Juni Ito for some asinine reason.

Flicky presenting the back superman 2 on Laserdisc alongside a copy of Uzumaki by Juni Ito, perhaps a cry for attention, perhaps she just tries to stick random items in these pictures as bait. The world may never know!

Fawlty Towers Laserdisc! Perhaps not the best aged show but still outrageously funny. Yes it includes that episode 😅 4 lovely discs and a cover that is reminiscent of Monty Python, when this show is most certainly not that! www.lddb.com/laserdisc/04...

Flicky presenting the cover of Fawlty Towers on Laserdisc with an open hand and a cold Waterloo Seltzer that kinda tasted like sunscreen but in a good way? Idk man I'm just an alt text.

Flicky presenting the back of Fawlty Towers on Laserdisc with an open hand and a cold Waterloo Seltzer again, the back is a bit dirty and scuffed sadly but so aren't we all?

Party On! With Wayne's World, one of the all time greats of the era! Very inexpensive release, with The Stairway to Heaven bit replaced much like it was on every other release up until a couple years back. Mr. VHS says hi as well 💿🤍 www.lddb.com/laserdisc/21...

Bad comparison, try CED or HD DVD, Laserdisc was around for 20+ years, and Betamax even longer (was used heavily in broadcast news).

The Phantom Menace! First Star Wars movie I actually got to see in a cinema! This one only saw a Japanese Laserdisc release, but what a release it is! So many fun bonus features, and easily the best version of the original release (Yoda is still a puppet!). www.lddb.com/laserdisc/00...

TWIN PEAKS! ☕ Happy to say I own the entirety of the original series on Laserdisc, alongside the movie Fire Walk With Me, and the European cut of the Pilot that tacks on an ending where Bob is just a drifter who killed Laura Palmer. Missing David Lynch and his art dearly during these times 🤍💿
