A Tennessee appellate court has ruled that the killing of a woman may have been justifiable because she was trans. The court reversed a conviction, stating that the killer could have a new trial because the jury did not know the woman killed was trans. Trans panic in the modern era.

this isn't good reasoning. being trans isn't cosmetic, neither is anything a trans person does to medically/surgically transition if they wish to do so. transphobes don't ascribe second-class to trans people because of surgeries or whatever, they think we're delusional or mentally ill.
