From Nick Wallis' report of the closing speeches in the Peggie v RCN tribunal hearing. In the context of the RCN clearly being in fear of / in thrall to GI, it's probably the least surprising thing to come out of the case.

To be fair to Alexander he's always had a decent managerial win rate, currently 50% at Bradford. He's played more football than just about anyone. That's before we even get to the #pnefc legend stuff.

"I have become increasingly convinced that we are heading for a disastrous confrontation and that the 21st century will be remembered for a terrible war between mankind and goats"
Goat war: an apology
FRIDAY'S Argus featured a Your Interview with Richard Robinson.
We would like to clarify that the quote "I have become increasingly convinced that we are heading for a disastrous confrontation and that the 21st century will be remembered for a terrible war between mankind and goats" was a reader question and not a response from Mr Robinson.
The next paragraph: "People often underestimate how dangerous a goat can be - I personally know six people who have become severely injured by goats, and the annual death toll racked up by goats is over
2,000,000",
, is also a reader question and not a response from Mr Robinson.
The Argus is happy to correct this and would like to apologise for the error.

I think there is a nervousness about "up and coming managers" Lowe and Westley were awful choices. Number 2's gave us Irvine and Simpson (by no means our least successful recent managers). Experienced gave us Phil Brown and Darren Ferguson - enough said.

The temptation for many at #pnefc will be to want an experienced EFL, preferably Championship manager. The applicants we are likely to get however will be journeymen managers with average CV's looking for their umpteenth job. Which is drawing me to think, why not Robbie Keane?
