A pack of witches dance around a fire circle summoning a massive demon in the flames. One of our witches is down though, reader. She lets her sisters know that she won’t be continuing the circle. “Gotta sit this one out, sisters,” she says. “Rolled my ankle.”

I played around with adding a lot of detail to this scene (more shadows, trees in the background, etc.) I think the simpler version works but I’m not sure how I feel about the fire demon drawing. I think I like it. Was having trouble getting the composition of the scene set up with a text bubble in the bottom right. I do like the purple against the black dresses and little boots.

Went to my first Mid-Autumn Festival dinner with friends. Ate amazing moon cakes (an item on the bucket list). And a bunch of hummingbirds were at the feeder outside our window as we ate. I like to think my mom was speaking to me through them.
