It's partly because of programmes such as RIS2 that we have to spend money retrofitting local streets to try to mitigate the impacts of climate change; but it is something we have to do now anyway.

So, my council lets you hire these trailers for free (£100 deposit) and they are amazing. I've moved furniture, compost, a whole dismantled kitchen including a fridge. Here I offered to pick up plants for someone I didn't know because it was on my way. Bravo wfcouncil @labourstone.bsky.social
