They kind of screwed up the Harvest Moon (not related to the farming sim game series) event quest in Aniimo for console players. The tutorial only works with keyboard and mouse not my PS5 controller. I found a way around it thanks to people helping me on Discord.

I think it is highly likely that after I move into my new home with my partner we will get a Pomeranian. Of course we won't be able to get a dog right away. I'd like a Shiba but those are a bit more difficult to get there.

"I think it just depends. In my case it was a bit of both I guess? I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and for the first week or so I was internally freaking out but not externally showing how freaked out I was.

One day I was talking to my partner about Final Fantasy: Unlimited. Hadn't thought about it in a while but the other FF anime Legend of the Crystals came up before FFU when we were talking. I remembered Kaze in FFU and how he doesn't just panic in dangerous situations. My brain was all, "Hey. This is scary. But if you were Kaze it would be less scary for you. So you will be Kaze now." I haven't really thought much of this series since when I was in high school around when I was collecting the DVDs so I probably would not have been Kaze if we were talking about some other series.

I had surgery near the end of August and although they got all of the cancer and the chances of it coming back are not likely, I am still Kaze. Being Kaze helped me lay still in a loud MRI machine for a while in an uncomfortable position without fidgeting. Being Kaze helped me not panic on the day of my surgery. I even quoted him before I went under."

#devtober day 5, improving terrain tools Pretty slow day as I tried to clean up some of the editor stuff for composing stuff alongside the unity terrain. I was able to get a pretty crisp edge for the descent into the Limelin yard, so maybe explicit shapes are better here.

Aniimo is a legit top tier creature collector game. And they cracked free-to-play. A whole Pokémon-like MMORPG where the F2P grind is essentially relegated to shiny hunting and event stuff (items, some costumes, etc.). The visuals, storytelling, combat, monster designs, etc. are all fantastic.

Turbo is a big floofy sheep with a body that looks like he’s made from clouds, two horns that curve and point back, and some colorful swirls. The colors and swirls are based on Vincent van Gogh’s “The Starry Night” painting.

Hexxin looks like a combination between a large flower and a witch. Her body is made of leaves, and the leaves and purple flower above her head looks like a witch’s hat. Her face is white, her mouth has a top row of sharp teeth, and her eyes look melancholic. She has magic runes floating around her and glowing magenta.

Isibéal has her straight brown hair pulled back in a high ponytail. Her eyes are brown.

She's wearing a mostly black punk outfit:
- triangular sunglasses that rest just below her eyes
- a black leather jacket with white fur around the top that’s slipped off at the shoulders

- a black leather bandeau with a blue layer underneath
