She's 16 years old and has chronic kidney disease but she was feeling pretty good today. She chased a chipmunk when she went outside earlier today and she barked at another dog at the park.

I swear the way the heads of these particular Aniimo are designed are working as a sort of exposure therapy for me. If the bodies were wyvern-shaped with the same head shapes as these however it would be a bit too close for me to comfortably look at them. #Aniimo #PS5Share

From the FFU art book. I have some settei pages of the Magun in the collection I bought a few months ago but not these two. Yes the way the Magun works involves body horror. You can't really see it clearly in the anime but this is how it works. #FFU #FinalFantasyUnlimited #anime

From a friend on Tumblr I've known for over a decade. Maybe one day I will be able to play Panzer Dragoon games without the feeling of being in danger. Yes these are also a type of PTSD flashback but thankfully not as severe as the one from two years ago.

A reply to a Tumblr post. It says, "I still hate that that happened to you. Panzer Dragoon was YOUR GAME. Like were I to think of someone associated with it, you would be the first. But, it does seem that you are sort of getting back to it. Hopefully, you'll be able to replace the negative associations with positive ones. Don't know if you'll be completely free of being tense/awkward, but I sure can hope!"

Oh new Aniimo coming soon on the 29th in the next big update. Just got this notification from the Aniimo Discord. More things will be added than new Aniimo such as new locations and quests but I look forward to meeting these. #Aniimo

This is why I have been posting so much FFU stuff since July.

A Tumblr post by wandering-star-sailor that says:

"Question for those who are wiser than I: is being copinglink voluntary or involuntary? Or both? Bc I'm a very recent (like 2 months) copinglink and I'm voluntary, but I've seen others talking about it like it's involuntary. Just checkin"

"I think it just depends. In my case it was a bit of both I guess? I was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago and for the first week or so I was internally freaking out but not externally showing how freaked out I was.

One day I was talking to my partner about Final Fantasy: Unlimited. Hadn't thought about it in a while but the other FF anime Legend of the Crystals came up before FFU when we were talking. I remembered Kaze in FFU and how he doesn't just panic in dangerous situations. My brain was all, "Hey. This is scary. But if you were Kaze it would be less scary for you. So you will be Kaze now." I haven't really thought much of this series since when I was in high school around when I was collecting the DVDs so I probably would not have been Kaze if we were talking about some other series.

I had surgery near the end of August and although they got all of the cancer and the chances of it coming back are not likely, I am still Kaze. Being Kaze helped me lay still in a loud MRI machine for a while in an uncomfortable position without fidgeting. Being Kaze helped me not panic on the day of my surgery. I even quoted him before I went under."
