A new statue titled “The Orange Plague”, also known as “King of Injustice”, by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt has been unveiled inside the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, where it will remain through 8 October. Remember to stop by for a selfie if you have a chance. 😏📸
This sculpture is a satirical piece titled "[The Orange Plague] created by Danish artist Jens Galschiøt.

The Imagery: The 2.6-meter-tall, gold-plated bronze sculpture depicts a naked, oversized Donald Trump riding on the back of a smaller man. He is holding a golf club in one hand and a pair of scales in the other.

The Meaning: According to Galschiøt, the piece is a satirical commentary on modern political power, climate policy, and the subversion of the rules-based international order.

Recent Exhibition: In October 2026, the statue drew global headlines when it went on public display inside the European Parliament building in Strasbourg, France, organized by Danish MEP Per Clausen.

I am not in a position to be able to evaluate these, but at least some of the results appear to be significant. Below is a Claude summary that was posted elsewhere of some of the more prominent problems addressed.
An unreleased OpenAI model claims to have solved hundreds of open math problems. The 5 biggest:
1. The Riemann Hypothesis (partial)
• It makes the biggest step in a century toward math's most famous unsolved problem.
• It would let us predict how prime numbers are spread out far more precisely.
2. The Unique Games Conjecture
• It proves a central question in computer science, open since 2002.
• It would settle how close computers can ever get to the best answer on hard problems like scheduling and routing.
3. The matrix multiplication exponent
• It finds a much faster theoretical way to multiply large grids of numbers, the core math behind AI and graphics.
Fifty years of human effort produced only small gains; this is a big leap.
4. Hilbert's 16th Problem (partial)
• It answers part of a question on David Hilbert's famous list of great problems from 1900.
• It proves that simple systems can only produce a limited number of repeating cycles.
• A computer has checked every step of the proof.
5. The Hodge and Birch-Swinnerton-Dyer Conjectures (partial)
• It makes major progress on two of the seven $1 million Millennium Prize problems.
• Neither is fully solved, but either result alone would define a mathematician's career.
