These last few days I've been wondering why my head aches by the afternoon. I realized that it's the cognitive load Claude's weird jargon puts on me. The working language at my workplace in English, we do full meetings in English, etc. – it doesn't take such a toll on me as Claude's wording does.

One of the most passive-aggressive copy and design I've seen recently is by Loom: no secondary action, no way "back", nothing, just the very blank and dull grey background and the button which takes me to "See upgrade options". Either respect your free users or don't offer a free tier at all.

There are no back, close or skip buttons, only a passive-aggressive statement saying that my subscription has been downgraded, I've lost access to certain features and that my Workspace capacity has been reduced.
