completed yet another tour of duty for #makeaterriblecomicday2026 🫡 I'm Doing My Part !

A comic drawn with black pen on slightly textured paper. The first panel shows Puzz walking to the right, saying, "Okay so I basically haven't drawn anything consistently in months let alone a whole comic but it's MAKE A TERRIBLE COMIC DAY 2026-" (the name of the day is rendered in various chunky fonts with sparkles) "-and participation IS mandatory! So like. Just gotta do it." An editor's note reads "that puzz".
The next row of panels starts with Puzz sitting with a pen and sketchbook, smiling and saying, "And we'll just freehand with real pen & paper. No plan. True to the spirit." The panel border is noticably wonky and off-center. The next panel's Puzz looks back at the first in a panic, continuing, "Like even if say just hypothetically I drew a COMPLETELY FUCKED PANEL BORDER??" The third panel's Puzz, now looking stress, adds, "Well uhhh that's just the name of the day baby we just roll with that Oh God not the text layout too son of a bitch". The speech bubble is noticeably crammed in next to Puzz.
The next panel is on the next row, a circular inset, as a harried Puzz looks directly at the viewer and says, "It cannot be overstated this is genuine stream of consciousness I am not doing a bit." The next panel has no border and shows Puzz kneeling on the floor with their pen and sketchbook while Holly (an editor's note explains she is, sic "bbeautiful wife (Puzz's)") stands next to them, hands clutched together in delight as she says, "And I can be in the comic." Puzz, visibly delighted, replies, "You caaaan" with hearts all around. Holly adds, "What'cha gonna drawww?" and Puzz answers, "I don't knoooww". The final panel is a simple shot of Puzz on a black fill background, stunned, with sloppy text reading, "I USED UP THE PAGE."
