I think this story could've used more time to unfold. Time is also a central element in #40 of my #startrek anniversary reads that doubles as a celebration of "Star Trek IV - The Voyage Home" which was released 40 years ago: "Star Trek - The Original Series: Lost to Eternity" by Greg Cox
Review card for the audiobook 'Star Trek: Picard: No Man's Land,' rated 3.5 out of 5 stars. Cover art shows Raffi Musiker and Seven of Nine in profile facing each other against a starry background, separated by a glowing orange infinity symbol, with the title in gold lettering above. Review text reads: 'A short, somewhat rushed tale with emphasis on emotion and relationship carried by its strong voice acting, especially by the two protagonists.' Below are three tags: 'fragmented,' 'rushed,' and 'too short.'Cover of the Star Trek: The Original Series novel 'Lost to Eternity' by Greg Cox, New York Times bestselling author. Seriously, this has to be a strong contender for the best Star Trek comic cover I've seen in all these years.
Cover of Star Trek: Holo-Ween #4 (Cover A). A cutaway, cross-section view of Deep Space Nine shows multiple decks of the station stacked vertically, framed by a pair of large pink clawed hands rising up behind the station against a starry space background, their white talons curving outward like blades. The top level shows Ops, with crew members gathered around the central command area. The level below shows a holosuite mid-transport effect, with a figure dissolving in golden energy amid the holographic grid walls. The bottom level splits into two side-by-side areas: the Promenade on the left with Klingon, Bajoran, and other alien crew members in costume-like Halloween attire walking through it, and Quark's bar on the right, its multiple tiers filled with masked and costumed characters, including a large dragon or phoenix-winged figure in fiery orange, socializing across several levels. The title "Star Trek: Holo-Ween" appears at the top in glowing yellow-green letters styled like a horror logo. Text in the upper left reads "4, $4.99 US, Cover A, Segura, Rosenlund, Jordan, Eckleberry," with the IDW Comics & Entertainment logo above it. A "Star Trek 60" anniversary logo and barcode appear in the lower left corner.

Well, that certainly was... something... On to No. 21 of my #startrek anniversary reads: "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Omnibus, Vol. 1" by Beyer, Johnson, @thatryanparrott.bsky.social, @meganlevens.bsky.social, Hernandez et al.
My Fable review of "Star Trek: Shaxs' Best (and Worst) Day" (4 stars): "Totally bonkers. Anti-fascist bonkers."Cover to "Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Omnibus, Vol. 1" depicting the Enterprise crew (left to right: Chapel, Sam Kirk, Uhura, Spock, Pike, Chin-Riley, M'Benga, and Noonien-Singh) beaming onto a platform amidst a futuristic cityscape with shiny spaceships streaking along in the background

Una and Una didn't disappoint. So, let's return to Vanguard, in a way, with No. 20 of my #startrek anniversary reads: "Star Trek - The Original Series: Harm's Way" by @davidmack.pro
My Fable review of "Star Trek - Strange New Worlds: Asylum" (4.25 stars): "Once again McCormack deals with timely topics, this time with the likes of cultural negation, social engagement, and others. Everything's beautifully done the Star Trek way without firing one phaser."Cover to "Star Trek - The Original Series: Harm's Way" depicting in blueish-purple-tinted space the TOS Enterprise (aft-view) confronting a Klingon D7 cruiser, with the USS Sagittarius to the side, and, in the bottom half, a profile shot of Spock with his eyes closed

Will No. 19 be the best and worst of my #startrek anniversary reads? "Star Trek: Shaxs' Best (And Worst) Day" by @ryannorth.ca, Derek Charm et al.
Cover to "Star Trek: Shaxs' Best (And Worst) Day" depicting in Lower Decks animation style a grinning Lt. (JG) Shaxs (traces of a transporter containment beam visible around him) in space above Qo'noS (different planets in the background), the USS Defiant (seen from the front and below) escaping from the planet with a triumphant Shaxs on the hull atop its nose - the line "Shaxs' Best & Worst Day" is written on a banner like the one from Captain Picard Day or Happy Freeman Day
