Looks like the City of Calgary is shifting from trying to encourage transit ridership, to simply gouging those who have no option but to use transit. All that surge pricing is likely to do is get commuters back in their cars.

If you don't read French, it's worth translating this article -- or having AI do so. It highlights how, in lifting content from newspapers without compensation, AI is 'parasitic' and will destroy media, ultimately resulting in lack of material to steal, a 'fundamental tension' in how AI functions.
