Let's go, Sam Forstag! That's how you stand up for trans people on the national stage. If congressional candidates in western Montana—one of the most competitive House races in the entire country—can stand up for trans folks in every aspect of our lives, democrats everywhere should take note.

I don't know that it makes him presidential material but Ossoff's ability to just be honest about how much of a pile of shit these people really are should be a model to the party.

It’s a record for a midterm in Georgia: roughly 185,000 people voted in person today, on Day 1 of early voting. The prior record was set in 2022, with roughly 130,000 voters.

NC is one of those states with a large number of people who vote D for 1 specific race (maybe a few other statewide stuff), but either dont vote down ballot or vote R donwballot. NH has a similar problem with federal vs state voting. Until recently, most of New England had the reverse problem.

All the times Dems won NC gov races in the Trump era, the downballot lag was serious, largely due to Cooper/Stein's candidate quality (and terribleness of their oponents). Now this is a Senate race so it could be different, but I don't think it's likely that the NC down-ballot vote is D+15.

It's really remarkable how in race after race, Republicans are saddled with the worst candidates imaginable - Paxton, Whatley, Husted, Rogers, Marshall, Moody, M. Collins, Graham... Some of them may win, but my god what a collection of losers, crooks, and dumbasses

Roy Cooper and Jon Ossoff’s brilliant campaigns have allowed Dems to focus desperately needed funds to other key races. Hugely important and pretty shocking that Republicans are not even competitive in two southern senate races.
