Rule of Law Alert: Trump’s authority for country-specific tariffs comes from the International Emergency Economic Powers Act, which doesn’t mention tariffs—but does require a national emergency. An ad showing that Reagan opposed tariffs surely is not a national emergency. (It may be a personal one)

Guess who has a new home filled with hope, care and kindness? That's Vayu! The 5-day trip from northeast India was our longest rescue journey ever. We will give the big bull ele a few days of peace and quiet while he builds his confidence. #elephant #elephantrescue

Upon Vayu’s arrival to the Elephant Hospital early this morning, the big beautiful bull was wary and cautious. All the sights and smells were new to him, but he could hear nearby elephants giving a reassuring welcome.

Dr. Go, who cared for Vayu throughout the journey, offered bananas and words of encouragement to coax him out of the ambulance.

Vayu’s first steps of freedom were tentative as he ventured from the ambulance into the Elephant Hospital, where treats and kindness awaited!

Dutton has again been targeted by protesters from climate action group Rising Tide, who managed to gatecrash an event at a Chinese restaurant in the electorate of Moreton.

Just hours after his very first campaign event of the election at the XXXX brewery was targeted by an anti-nuclear protester, Dutton again endured a shouted protest from Rising Tide.

A woman managed to get close to Dutton and unfurl a banner calling for no new gas or nuclear. There’s now been about half a dozen events - mostly hosted by the Coalition - “bird-dogged” by Rising Tide.
