LRT: Weird moment where we don't know if that's just the end of part 2 or the end of the manga overall. We'll know in 2 weeks! A part 3 would be great, but at the same time the slight mess of the latter half of Part 2's pacing could hint at an author who's keen to move on to other projects.

Playing the Zero Parades demo, and while the game is always going to suffer under the studio's shadow, I like a lot of what it's doing! ...but attempts to specifically echo DE's political writing and intrusive thoughts feel like a weakness that undermines the game's identity and vibe.

Turned on PS5 via controller to play some Death Stranding 2, decided I wanted to play something quick on my PC instead so plugged my PS5 controller in... later got several PSN purchase notifications. ...turns out that if you do this, the controller is STILL sending inputs to the PS5 🫠

Visited my mom, and she had been sorting through her books and found two that I adored as a kid (and both were hefty hardcovers that were half my weight back then). Both gripped me and my imagination *deeply*, despite definitely not being for kids, let alone ones my age.

Saw Sinners last night, had an absolute blast! Some absolutely phenomenal scenes that were a joy to watch in the cinema (and one fully packed!), and I've been listening to that fantastic soundtrack since. Highly, highly recommended!

Had an amazing game of Arcs last night (a game which ran into 1am this morning). Last round (and ultimate victor) came down to two players, one of which who had 0pts for the entire game but had managed to salvage their situation and pilot themselves into an immense potential bounty of points.

Getting to the end of Space Marine 2, and it always makes me a bit sad that 40k is so deeply stuck in the "nobody really cares about the story" and "we've got to make these space marines characters relatable" holes.

Bought Space Marine 2, and I'm increasingly realizing I may have made a mistake planning to play it through solo 😅 While otherwise fun, both my main frustrations I think boil down to the game assuming (or simply relying) that I'll be playing with real humans, rather than bot allies.
