One of the biggest problems with elections is that they are reduced by the media to a two side argument and people just accept that. They just immediately say they dont believe in democracy because they would rather those options be made for them, so its all about picking a general team. Total farce

Silent hill townfall's art direction pains me. At least silent hill F could as a game stand on its own without the SH branding and be amazing, where as this is one of the more callous examples of a generalized disrespect for the art and the intelligence of the consumer.

An assortment of 3 pages from different comics. First is of a spacecraft swallowing some kind of barbed asteroid as a siren blares over the speakers and 3 pairs of feet rush through its claustrophobic, pressurised halls.

The second is a continuation of the first. A woman peeks out from inside a room as the 3 people run by to ask what's happening. "What's going on?" "What do you think is going on? It's the moment of truth! We found it!" "We fucking found it!" "We... We found it??"

Third is a page from a different comic. Outside an observatory, a man leans over the door of a parked car, trying to comfort a woman ugly-crying, freaking out at the wheel. She wipes her tears away and pretends to be fine as the man looks on in concern.

3 illustrations side by side. The first is of an old man, framed inside an aged and toothless maw as ghosts spew forth from within. He clutches a tooth in his hands while a monkey, perched upon his back, points at the displaced pearl. The second is an illustration of a girl wearing countless wires and indiscernible technology. Her glasses are askew, hair frayed and sweat drips from her face yet she wears a smile. The third is single-page comic of a girl dancing. It begins with her hands raised high above her head, serenity painted across her face. She slowly brings them down and pulls her elbows back behind her as she takes a deep breath before letting out an explosive push.

years ago i met a model who went to chechnya during the war in the 90s with no attachment to any org and just a general desire to help people. he had no occupational skills and ended up just helping people carry things around. He apparently tried to do this in bosnia and afghanistan too.

I think we should spend more time talking about the proposed solutions to problems socialists bring to the table rather than simply stating tbe problem and its causes. There is surely a need for that explaination but we dont often get perspectives on what we could do, only what was once done.

while i am not opposed to therapy- i find that my main issue with it is that in our social economic order, it is basically reduced to ceo communication speak once you get past the basics of coping mechanisms and triggers. so much of it is breathless restating of the same thing in defensible tone.

Of all the ai problems that exist, they share these root issue more primarily than any other factors; the work it was trained on was stolen, no economic benefit was returned to any of the people named or not whos work was scraped, and the theives who own these companies profit exclusively.
