If someone in power wanted to do something to address the healthcare crises in this country, one of the easiest things would be to enforce the laws around dispensing medical advice without a license and making false medical claims, not to mention holding politicians accountable for knowingly lying.

There’s a theory floating around after last night’s episode of The Pitt that Langdon took Whittaker’s badge to steal meds. Given the show's overall attention to detail, I don’t buy it because I’ve never encountered a hospital that doesn't use fingerprint scanning for medication dispensing.

I’m overwhelmed and deeply saddened by the countless tragedies on display. I watched the video and read about yet another victim — Alex Pretti, a fellow ICU nurse — who, by all reasonable accounts, did what any of us should do in the face of such cruelty. He tried to help, and was executed for it.
