I'm glad someone else spotted this. I saw the quoted video earlier and it was setting off some alarm bells but I didn't have the time to dive into it but tl;dr, "I reverse engineered an app and found all its evil secrets" is a suspicious as hell claim if you can't show your work, and guy does not

Viktor Antonov of Half-Life 2 fame was an environment artist on this game. He studied architecture in university and his ability to build contemporary worlds is what got him the Valve gig. We talked about doing a Kingpin focused interview but he tragically passed a few months later. He was a gent.
