I think one of the most painful parts of being in the same industry for over 20 years is seeing people you once loved and respected fall into behavior you never imagined. I blocked another creator "friend" I knew for over a decade today because they wouldn't stop calling people R****ds.

Can I vent for a minute? Thanks. We need to do better for nurses, and our healthcare system is such trash. After nearly a decade, I parted ways with one of my nurses over creative differences. This means I need to find someone I can trust to help my life be better for the next decade.

Spot the difference. You can't. Confidence comes from finding your source of power. For me, it was the unexplainable connection I found with this woman. From Hollywood to people in my face, I've been told all my life people like me don't get the happily-ever-after. People like me can't win.

Vague update: I've been working on an app disabled people can use to make games more accessible. Tonight the app solved an accessibility problem the dev told me they were too busy to look into. If this works, we'll be able to fix some accessibility client-side. So happy. I can't wait to publish this

First time visiting my PCP since the "Big, Beautiful Bill" Medicaid cuts. Doc suggested 3 critical meds to help me live better. 2 were denied, and appeals were denied. 1 was approved for a 5-day supply instead of a 90-day supply. Being disabled in the Orange Era is SO MUCH FUN.
