The mass deportations won’t save money. They won’t get bad guys, protect citizens, curb fentanyl, or help our economy. But if we let them, they will inspire more racism and fear, and prepare us to accept a police state. Don’t let yourself become numb to this.

If you are using undocumented immigrants' tax records to find and kidnap them, then it was never about them paying taxes.
If you are showing up at their place of employment, then it was never about them not working.
