Why is the division 'cooking' vs 'eating'? What are people doing with their cooking apples if they're not eating them? are they not for eating? Why are juicing and cider apples not called 'drinking' apples? (I'm supposed to be reading about ecclesiology. My brain is doing this instead/ as well)

First official day of placement today. Mass at both churches (both Sunday schools were doing Joshua and came back in with the trumpets they'd made!!) then a baptism of 3 siblings! Brilliant!

We got the alert twice (so, 8 times all together, over 4 phones) first in Cymraeg and then (just as we'd checked the gov website to see the English page said no current alerts) in English. I can assure you that in North Wales we are really quite aware of wildfires!

I'm on a pre-training tour of spiritual spaces of my past. Currently in Luton, where I lived until I was 9. Yesterday (Day 1) was mostly driving.
