Title: paddle away paddle

Author: planet_B612

Summary:

"Do you think you can sleep now?" Haixia asked.

Hailou did not say anything. But he shuffled closer to Haixia.

"I could…sing you a song?" Haixia said, consideringly. He had never been sung to sleep. Perhaps nobody had the energy to do that, when he had been a baby and when his parents still maybe cared. But it was a thing that people did, wasn't it? Sadly, Haixia didn't know any songs. So he thought for a moment longer and said, "I can read to you a poem I found in a book today? But you can't tell shifu about it, I took it from her locked cupboard."

Eight missing scenes, where Hailou and Haixia sleep.

Notes: For lunarriviera.
For Sam, who also believes in sleepy rights for Hailou and Haixia.

They have never done anything wrong and if you saw them commit crimes, no they didn't, they are innocent

A screenshot from 《Archives: The Nanyang Mystery》 of Zhang Haixia (played by Ding Yuxi) and Zhang Hailou (played by Zhang Xincheng) in their teenage years, wearing twin outfits of collared shirt and trousers and suspenders just in different colours, facing each other in the courtyard of their Xiacheng home, the colours all very soft and gentle like it's a confession scene and you know what? It might as well be. Hailou signed 30 years of his life away and Haixia is going to follow suit!!!!!!

I was assaulted by this photoshoot todayfjfgfhjfh #wangxingyue

Wang Xingyue for Madam Figaro Hommes September 2026. A Chinese man sits on a green metal bench, green foliage in the background. He has his legs bent and drawn up in front of him and to the side, one arm on the armrest, and the other raised, his hand partially covering the lower part of his face. He's wearing wide brown pants and a brown shirt, leaving his forearms bare and his chest partially visible. He wears expensive diamond necklaces, a diamond bracelet, and rings. He is looking sweetly at the camera, hair looking slightly wet, in a side parting.

Watching Time Raiders. Minutes since there were either: bugs, corpses, weird scary beings, snakes, dark water, dark water with things in it, someone falling into the dark water with things in it, or Xiaoge telling people not to do something but they do it anyway: 0 Why do I do this to myself? 🙃

*sighs deeply* Why did I think I was Just Going To Be Able To Watch Reunion? Had to pause at ep 21 (I love it so far. So much that I wonder if there is a tiny chance I'll love it even more if I know all the background?) So... Apparently it has to be Time Raiders now...

I am extremely overwhelmed right now

A monochrome photo of Wang Yang seated on a couch in a very fancy three-piece suit, left arm resting casually on the backrest of the couch, right hand holding a fancy black hat that is half-covering his face in shadows as he prepares to wear it. Sir. SIR!!!!!!

I'm watching Reunion: Sound of the Providence, and Cheng Houchun who plays Hei Xiazi is actually older than me. He is in fact the same age as Wang Yang. Like a couple of months younger only. dsfsdfsdf I don't need to get invested in another hot middle-aged guy... Right? 😳

I'll take issue w anyone who shit talks Wattpad migrants under the assumption that they'll be bad for ao3. I encourage a helpful, inclusive mindset: point those in need to guidelines in a friendly manner. Not welcoming migrants, but assuming they will fuck your home up, is always the wrong move.
