To suggest that a country as wet and flood-prone as Ireland shouldn't have established mechanisms in place for rapid delivery of flood relief is absolutely nuts. This isn't a surprise act of God. It's common. Disaster preparedness should be a basic aspect of any government's portfolio. #Spéirgorm
