Paralititan stromeri, an Upper Cretaceous Sauropod found in the Bahariya Formation in Egypt. A redesign of a games Concavenator, with Thresher Shark's as inspiration.A giant Vetulicolian Kaiju, with the primary inspirations being Diskflies from Phtaanum and the B-2 Spirit.A made up Megaraptoran sketch I made for a silly little dinosaur name generator, using the First letter of your name, Eye Color and Birth Month.

Once again it's been a very long time, and this isn't my usual Rain World post but I like these two a lot so I'm going to post them here, I hope you guys think they're cool too
Kogia creviti, also known as the "Homunculus Whale" due to its almost fetus-like appearance but staggering size, is a 7 meter long diving Kogiid descended from the Dwarf Sperm Whale. It hunts in small groups of 2 to 4 and targets large squid, fish and arthropods.Kogia topiarius, also known as the Shark Whale due to its dentition, appearance and nature, is a small Kogiid that inhabits the large kelp forests of a Seed World 2.5 myh. It is roughly 2.7 to 3.2 Metres long and feeds on small cephalopods, fish, crustaceans and occasionally marine mammals.

Distantly related to flying dragons, the Maidstoker conjures images of classic fantasy. These powerful herbivores fuel their devastating fire with methane gas derived from their diet. Given their constant supply of fuel, they can breathe more fire than carnivorous species!

Here's a #DnD debate. Are kobolds reptiles or dogs? In my world they are both! Inspired by this very debate, I think of them as bipedal therocephalians (see image), which are an evolutionary bridge between reptiles and mammals. Bonus: there's evidence that some of them may have been venemous.
Therocephalian therapsids. They look like a cross between reptiles and mammals, particularly canines.

A large fish-like animal swimming under blue waves. It has a nose horn, a siphon at the tail end and red, branched filter feeding tentacles on the head end. Bubbles get blown out of its siphon. The sky above the water is almost clear and bright, with an artificial, spiral-shaped structure being visible in orbit.Explosia! A large sauropod rearing, its neck and tail waving like a massive serpent at night. Rain blasts against its rocky scales, and lightning hits its head, surrounding it in a celestial golden halo. Early birds and pterosaurs follow the deific being, their eyes just as red as the sauropods.A blurry image of an animal-ish being sitting on a rocky outcrop of a coast at dusk. Wind turbines and human construction buildings are visible in the backgrounf. In the deep blue sky, next to the moon, a spacecraft descends. It appears as though it is a falling star.A depiction of a rain and storm-blasted landscape held in perpetual twilight. Strange plant-like things grow everywhere, including shrub-like forms and glowing kite-like forms in the background. In the center of the composition is a massive mushroom-ish organism. It is hit by lightning, letting it glow up in red green and blue flashes. Similar such growths can be seen in the background.

Regicide- a fun painting from earlier this year, imagining the cataclysmic struggle when adult Tyrannosaurus rex would abandon all posturing and go at it in a full fight over territory! Steps in the thread as well. #paleoart #dinosaurart #trex #tyrannosaurusrex

A pod of Livyatans (extinct macropredatory sperm whales) dives down leaving the surface of the ocean behind. The one in the center of the image has a calf following closely.A cross-section view of a shalloe sea where a hippo-like Moeritherium (primitive elephant relative) swims at the surface, followed curiously by a Basilosaurus (long primitive whale). The tail of the whale breaches the surface right besides the Moeritherium, while its body disappears into the depths. The image has a fisheye lens effect and some trees can be seen at one portion of the horizon. An underwater view of a mosasaur (marine lizard) carrying a seabird on its mouth. Beyond the surface, other seabirds can be seen flying, their silhouettes distorted by the water.A view of a tunnel aquarium, where one man is standing looking up towards the curved glass ceiling. An Elasmosaurus swims over the curved top of the tunnel, while the water around it is populated by different kinds of fish and a sea turtle.

I really enjoy doing series with fixed landscapes showing the passage of time and native fauna. I previously shared one I've made with different times of the day in Pleistocene Central Brazil, and here is an earlier one I did showing the four seasons in Ice Age Beringia (America-Asia land bridge).
In Spring, it's morning and a mother short-faced bear walks by a field in bloom while her cub stands up and looks off-screen curiously. There are two trees with lush green leaves to the left, and hazy mountains in the background. A flock of ducks or geese flies in formation in the sky.In Summer, it's noon and a herd of wild horses grazes in the field. The trees are green, the mountains are lush with greenery, and the sky is blue.In autumn, the sun is starting to set and a lone Homotherium lets out a call, with visible condensation coming out of his mouth. The field is drab, the trees have yellow leaves and the mountains in the background show a brown landscape. In winter, the sky is overcast and it is snowing. A herd of mammoths crosses the snow-covered field, while a white hare moves out of the way. The trees are leafless and the mountains are also covered in snow.

OK, decided to tweak it a little because me trying to parallel the animal with the figurine displayed horizontally obscured the fact that it had high shoulders and not a flat back 🙃
A mostly brown Homotherium in side view, next to a rendition of a sculpted figurine and the silhouette of a hand print. A piexe of text says: "Homotherium latidens - Grotte d'Isturitz, France - around 34 thousand years before present".

I can't believe it! The number of reposts and likes on both of my art posts have reached double digits, what a rush! Sadly, I'm running out of Wyrms to post as I haven't made any new ones recently, but I CAN post some other things from the project alongside them!
The Green Wyrm; a terrestrial goliath that uses its thick, reinforced skull and macuahuitl-esque tail to batter and beat prey into submission. Despite their bulk, they are capable of gliding short distances. The Rust Lizard; An omnivorous, early ancestor to Wyrms, they have managed to survive going extinct through the evolutionary trait of welding metal onto their tough skin via a biological blowtorch in their maw.The Fylommizard; Giant adaptable herbivores, these slow moving behemoths defend themselves with a chemical concoction that is released from their tail by dozens of skin vents. The gas released is so putrid, that even the largest predators lose their appetite. The Tyrithrio; monolithic carnivores that rule the grasslands and forests. With a powerful beak adapted to both shearing and crushing, they can clip the wings of any unfortunate Wyrm trying to make a get away. The only carnivore that can and will contest against a Red Wyrm.
