Freyja has filed a formal request that the central heating be turned on.
A tabby cat curled up in a circle, lying on a radiator bed hanging from a radiator that is, much to her disappointment, off. Her tail is over her face in disgust at this situation.

Did you know, if you ask the Pets At Home AI assistant to change the email address on your account, it will say that is done exactly that? And then do... not that? And then close the chat without giving you the option to speak to a human? #FuckAI

I left Protestantism because the belief system was too formalised for me, and now the Pope himself keeps tempting me towards Catholicism?

No Pinterest, I don't think I ever will take your recurring suggestion of "Screenshot your feed and share your vibe", since my vibe, according to your algorithm, is "very mentally unwell". Thanks though 😘

I'm catching up on my blocking: this one's a beauty. (though this part of the process does remind me every time how yucky that wet wool smell is) #crochet
A crochet scarf pinned put on blocking mats. It is brightly coloured with diagonal stripes of yellow, red, purple, green and blue, the colours change on every row.

I am incredibly lucky to be (touch wood) well on the recovery path from ME/CFS. Thanks are due in no part whatsoever to the NHS, who discharged me after 6 months because I was 'taking up clinic space' when they had an influx of new patients, and no treatment to offer me.

Since I didn't realise I was bi until I was in my 30s, it feels somehow appropriate that I didn't realise today is Bi Visibility Day until gone 4pm. Happy Bi Visibility Day.

I am convinced that cat food companies put different (tastier) food in their sample packs than they do in the full size ones. Only a cat will be able to persuade me otherwise.

I made the mistake of opening Reddit without being logged in. God above, it's a bleak and bitter place without the benefit of the algorithm gently filtering my feed to a blend of cats, weaving, and Animal Crossing.

Thinking today - apropos *nothing whatsoever* - about the Battle of Stockton in 1933, when a group of locals gathered together to forcefully evict an organised fascist rally from their town. Y'know, just because. #AntiFa

I see a few people saying that they don't blame Starmer for standing down but you see I will continue to blame him for destruction of trans rights and protest rights, and the villainisation of disabled people and immigrants. And I will continue to blame Burnham for carrying on those projects.

More and more this AI bollocks is making me aware of all the ways tech is rotting my brain and making me want to get rid of more of it. No more google maps, no more search engines. More books, more maps, more human interaction. I'm going to end up in a cave with a stick if this continues

I wouldn't call myself a cartoonist, but I had the vision and just needed it to be on paper to the best of my ability.
A hand drawn eight panel cartoon. First two panels are a colander sitting frowning on a shelf. Then the colander is frowning straining pasta, then three more panels of frowning sitting on a shelf. Then a big panel where it's projecting a bunch of crescent eclipse shapes and smiling with speech bubbles around saying "Wow! Look! Amazing! Beautiful!" And then one final panel where it's sitting on a shelf smiling.

Heavens above, so much I could quote from this, let's try: "normality itself had to be invented. And it was invented, quite precisely, by and for capitalism". I've held the opinions set forth here for a long time, but I'd never be able to put it so logically and persuasively.
