Today, I went from never having shucked oysters in my life to shucking 44 of them. 18 of them, I shucked with a flathead screwdriver until I went to the grocery store & bought an oyster knife. Honestly, the flathead screwdriver came in clutch on the last 3 that wouldn't open.

You know what's funny? We spent thousands of years growing rice & finally industrialized it to where we could eat white rice at every meal, but only to find out eating too much was bad for us. Now, the healthy rice is mixed with grains & beans. That was filler before there was enough white rice!

Trying to reorganize my craft room was a mistake. I have found 4719093847 half finished projects that I am too reluctant to just throw away. Main reason is that half of my good sewing pins are still in these projects.

Tadaaa @drift0r.bsky.social's 2nd pair of pants are done! Now I can work on other sewing projects! I sewes in my custom tag in these pants. One day someone may find them in a thrift store & think they're exclusive designer or something lol.

Working on the 2nd pair of pants for my husband's bday present. Sometimes black thread just works better than navy thread for navy fabric. 🤷‍♀️ Using the same pattern as the 1st pair. The fabric is a linen/rayon from Joann (RIP).

Almost done with the 1st pair of pants for him. Made from some unknown olive green rayon/linen looking fabric I got from the thrift store. Used a free pants pattern from So Sew Easy & am very loosely following the tutorial. Pattern: so-sew-easy.com/cargo-pants-...

don’t buy Epic, between the atrocious labor practices and the sheer amount of defective wigs I see people receiving lately and the fact that they’ve never announced this but their wigs are overall lower quality than they used to be (I have a launch line wig for comparison), they’re boycott town
