Me holding a thing of KD RAMEN. there's a picture of ramen but it's Kraft Dinner orange. And cheese sauce appears to be spilling over the edge of the bowl

I listen to the Wilco a lot more these days, but in actual factual 2001 I absolutely loved Vespertine, and apparently that's my voting criteria here.

you may think i am joking but i am not. they’re talking about AI the way protestant zealots talked about the end times. in both cases we are hearing people talk about themselves — their desires, their lust for destruction, their yearning to trample their rivals underfoot.

By chance bought a Pamela Branch mystery in Lucca recently, as my wife read a Christianna Brand. Otherwise, I don't think I'd have twigged that Brand's detective is seemingly reading a crime novel written by Branch's character. Given they were friends it tracks, though.

St Bartholomew's Day Massacre today, 1572. I really enjoyed this little note from a Folger curator about their acquiring a Hogenberg print of the event (I would not have had a problem having my name attached to the collection!) www.folger.edu/blogs/collat...

We have just had proper rain here for the first time since June - and I have just come to realise that the purpose of Test cricket as a ritual in England is TO MAKE IT RAIN IN THE SUMMER. We have angered the gods with The Hundred and we must return to the old ways.

Ghost houses. The houses on Pape just north of the tracks have been expropriated by Metrolinx due to Ontario Line construction. They leave the lights on, so you can see into the abandoned houses at night. Still with bits of their former lives sometimes.

I'm a member of two different cricket club group chats trying to figure out if they're going to be able to keep playing through the eclipse this evening or how many overs they might lose to light.

With last night's win, the Toronto Blue Jays are now 3856-3856 in franchise history. Graphic design is my passion
.500 graphic crudely made on a phone based out of the Blue Jays 50 Seasons logo.

I came up with the concept walking out of the dome last night then I got home late and went to bed after doing a few things. Then I had to wake up early this morning to run errands and now I'm on a subway so that's why I couldn't get to Photoshop to do a half decent job on this graphic, ok? But the concept was good! I need to get to lunch now ok bye.
