Almost every review I've ever read about myeloma #MMsm starts with something (true) like, "Recent advances in myeloma have led to significant improvements in..." Quite a jolt to see how different the prognosis was for myeloma 60 years ago... and how these papers used to begin!

This time last year I "graduated" from my running club's couch to 5km group. Since then I've run pretty much every week . I've even completed two official 10km races. More than that I've found an amazing supportive community. #running

One of the best things about the Scottish Cancer Conference is the variety of attendees. People affected by cancer, clinicians, politicians, researchers all in one space. It makes prepping for an exhibition stand complicated, we had everything from our patient dairy to scientific posters #myeloma

We often highlight how swings mean a lot to teenage girls, and are a hit with most people of all ages and backgrounds. But they are mainly only located in playground areas assigned to smaller children. It’d be great to have more swings that encourage people to get outside, socialise and have fun.
