the brightest version of the future has you in it, thriving, existing as who you want to be. Let the adults fight for that world - what we need is for you to survive to live in it

what I want trans kids, queer kids, and gender nonconforming kids to know: you are loved you are so much more powerful than the ghouls using your healthcare as a political pawn, and you WILL outlive them (they know this, and it is why they're attacking you)

Bell Island, just off the coast of Newfoundland, is said to be the most haunted island in North America. It is said there are ghosts, malevolent fairies, mysterious lights and, of course, the famous Bell Island Hag. This is the story. 🧵 1/8

An aerial view of a rugged, green island surrounded by deep blue ocean waters, featuring steep cliffs along the coastline, a small inland lake, and a mix of forested and open land areas.

I no longer have one, but I found it nice for day-to-day cleaning, especially when I had pets. I still found I needed to use the vacuum once in a while for a deeper clean, near baseboards, couch cushions, etc.

Having puberty blockers as a youth would’ve been awesome. But I’m also very happy with who I am today and deeply love all the trans people in my life that didn’t have access to puberty blockers. So if you can’t access puberty blockers, I hope you’ll still grow up to be just like them—badasses.

Bird photography tips, an oldie that is hopefully useful for spring migration right now.

A comic called Bird Photography tips. A good bird photo shows a cape may warbler perched on a branch, with excellent lighting, subject in focus, and field marks clearly visible. A great bird photo shows the warbler in mid hop, labeled with peerless athleticism, levitation??, powerful. An excellent bird photo shows a little round warbler facing the camera, labeled borb, round, and a good bird. An exceptional bird photo shows the bird zooming forward mid flight, labeled nyooooom.
