The UCP is introducing legislation to ensure that only "serious" people are allowed to run in elections. Whatever could go wrong with a government putting up barriers for people who want to run against them? #abpoli #ableg #cdnpoli

Those of you standing in long lines for municipal elections in Alberta today: 1) stay in line; your voice matters 2) the long lines are a direct consequence of the conspiracy-driven policy changes brought forward by the UCP government (and not your beleaguered election workers); be kind

This is STILL bad vaccination policy. They are openly stating this unadvertised survey will be used to guide the number they order and reduce wastage - ie to order less vaccines. Responsible spending would be to order WAY MORE and have a robust communications & outreach program to boost vax rates.

Good news: clarified message. Bad news: here’s the message “Pre-ordering for the 2026–2027 immunization season starts on Sept 29 and ends Dec 15. Pre-ordering helps secure vaccines, reduce wastage, and support responsible spending. Albertans can still book next year if they don’t pre-order.” 1/2

Got off the plane and walked into a drug store in Ottawa and got my COVID vaccine in under 5 minutes. No line up. No appointment. No cost. Was even asked if I wanted Moderna or Pfizer. It’s unconscionable that we can’t get this same level of service in Alberta.

🚨 This is inexplicable news to share. If in Alberta and you want flu and covid shots for NEXT year (2026-2027), you have only until December 15 of THIS year to order them. This is not incompetence. It’s a deliberate choice to prevent as many people .. bookvaccine.alberta.ca/vaccine/s/pr... 1/2

On World Mental Health Day, I'm thinking of everyone who is struggling right now. If the world feels heavy, know that you don't carry its weight alone. If all you do today is exist, it's ok. You are loved. You matter. Your mental health matters. And I'm so grateful you're here.

I know there’s a lot going on with *gestures to everything* but as of today, October 1st: 🚩Alberta officially has the LOWEST minimum wage in Canada 🚩AISH recipients in social housing will pay hundreds more in rent Cruel UCP choices are making life more expensive. It doesn’t have to be this way.

After a little rough math, Imake approximately
$12/student per day. This government that has
nomoney can somehow afford $30/student per
dayto subsidize childcare?

mduse_

Here's an idea-the UCP could take that $30 per child,
per day and invest itinto public education. The strike
would be resolved. But this government would rather
doANYTHING rather than adequately fundpublic
education.

There are 35+ kids in my child's Biology 20 class. They
are sitting 3 kids at each table meant for 2. When
writing tests they use dividers between students to
reduce copying off of each other but there aren't
enough dividers. It's a small issue but if Danni can
afford $30/kid/day she could probably fork over a few
dollars for teachers & classroom supplies.

I support Alberta teachers!

Hey Danielle Smith, Nate Horner and Demetrios
Nicolaides, ifyou paid teachers $30a day per
student we wouldn'tbe on the doorstep ofa
teachers strike!

Soyou are telling Albertans you DO have the
money, youjust refuse to invest itin public
education. #visciousnegotiating
