I don’t really see why Wayne B’s cranky behaviour is received with such delight by the media. All women have met this man and seen this behaviour. It is rude and it is dismissive. And apparently it is still rewarded with power (but only in a man) #nzpol

For a change I am in total agreement with Luxon that the job isn’t done. however we disagree over whether he’s the one to keep trying to do it. #nzpol

Policies you don’t get rid of ARE your policy. You can’t say ‘that stinky mess over there was made by someone else’ and not do anything without it becoming YOUR deliberate, endorsed, chosen stinky mess! #nzpol

Two of these reports would fund our social service community organisation for ONE WHOLE YEAR. Also, I’m quite good at excel so maybe I should do the next one?

Unfortunate, given that the whole caucus presumably spent two hours writing it.

I’m all good with our politicians never having done whatever the thing is. The point being endlessly missed is that when you don’t have experience of all the things, you need to LISTEN to people who do! e.g. small business/ teaching/ environmental management/being a migrant/being homeless … #nzpol

Luxon’s attempt to refocus the media is constitutionally misplaced. Confidence is the lifeblood of government. And the media have a legitimate interest in interrogating changing dynamics in confidence.

A better analogy to calculators, a more accurate one, would be if calculators didn't actually calculate. A calculator with number inputs only and a button you press to receive an answer, no operations. Enter some numbers, get an answer. Maybe it's the same each time, maybe not.
