Can you imagine the derisory coverage and outright mockery if any other party with single-digit MPs decided to "declare a General Election" and go on a bus tour? Yet when this outlandish nonsense comes from Farage, it is treated as somehow brilliant. "Subscribe to continue..." No thanks. I'm good.

“A party the country still regards as toxic is determined to double down on its toxicity.” The Tories: so tedious in their relentless idiocy. Another, great cathartic piece… (loved Philp’s new name too…)
To illustrate her point, Kemi proudly drew Laura's attention to her rather desperate pamphlet The Right Way, which the Tories have published as their new credo. Six principles of Conservatism to get them through the bad times. To remind them they are right even when the country thinks they are unelectable. Kemi's Kemistry, as she hopes we will call it. The first rule is that Kemi never makes mistakes. Asked to name anything she has changed her mind about, she comes up with nothing. The laws of physics will change long before Kemi. She wants us to think of The Right Way as her foundational document that will be spoken of in hushed tones for decades to come. It will be lucky to survive
until tomorrow.

She's doing her best to destroy everything, whilst the NHS is running on empty. Fuck her, and fuck everyone pushing and supporting her agenda.
NHS nurse shortage far worse than official figures suggest, warns RCN

The NHS in England is facing a significantly larger nursing workforce crisis than official vacancy figures suggest, according to a new report from the Royal College of Nursing.

The report, In Short Supply: Estimating the Shortfall of Registered Nurses in the NHS in England, estimates that the health service is currently lacking around 55,000 registered nurses needed to provide safe patient care. This figure is more than double the official NHS vacancy count of 23,046 recorded in August 2026.

The findings highlight growing concerns about the ability of NHS organisations to meet increasing patient demand, with workforce growth failing to keep pace with what experts believe is required. The latest NHS Scotland workforce statistics, published 2 June, show that gaps in the nursing and midwifery workforce across NHS Scotland are leading to continued reliance on supplementary staffing, with the cost of bank staffing increasing by £37.6m compared to last year.

The statistics show that the use of agency nursing and midwifery staff has continued to decrease, following the Scottish government restricting this to exceptional circumstances only. In 2025-26, the cost of agency staff was £34.5m.Nurses and midwives in NHS Lothian are being "ground down by a vicious cycle" as figures show almost 400,000 nursing and midwifery hours were lost to mental health-related sickness in 2025/26

Patient care across NHS Lothian is being undermined by a "vicious cycle" of nurse burnout, excessive workloads and staff shortages, a union has warned.

The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) Scotland said severe workplace pressures are driving exhausted staff to long-term sickness, threatening the delivery of safe and effective care at NHS Lothian. The number of registered nurses and midwives seeking to leave Scotland to work abroad has more than trebled in the last seven years.

New figures have revealed 799 nurses and midwives with an address in Scotland applied for papers enabling them to work overseas in 2025/26.

That compares to 689 the year before, and just 248 in 2018/19 a rise of more than 222%.

The number has risen steadily, with the bulk of medics going to Australia and the US to explore new opportunities.

The Royal College of Nurses Scotland described the figures are "worrying".
