There's nothing to stop all parties agreeing to the plans between now and the election, making it becoming a non contested promise in all party's manifestos. Irl it will probably produce a plan all parties agree on (Except Reform, jury out on Tories) with disagreements in how to fund it.

I do find this country mad. Anyone can see that social care is in a state of devastating crisis in this country and that it is the key source of the NHS crisis as well. There is no feasible way to solve it without everyone contributing. Burnham is honest about that and is already getting pelters.

The outpouring of support I've seen from the community here in Portsmouth for the RNLI yesterday and today has been heartwarming. Social media is a cesspit of a breeding ground for the far right. It does not represent the country or our communities. Only the political aims of its owners.

I've now seen local footage of the assaulting of police officers. Men in all black, with balaclavas and calls for donations to enable more of these events. Reform cllrs went, posting videos. GB news covered and promoted what was happening, giving an uninterrupted platform for thugs and enablers.

Several of us made this point about Restore Britain's teams during the Makerfield by-election. There's money financing these uniforms, the wearers, and the actions they are taking. Its absolutely in the public interest to find out who it is, and stop these illegal actions before they escalate.
