ok fine, the payoff for entering Fortune's Weave Act 3 is worth it. 80 hours of gameplay later, recruiting everyone again and having the "best of" of all 4 routes to go kick the final boss's ass is a really unique experience

Yeah I skipped half of them. You only need to play Dietrich or Leda's act 2 to recruit everyone. Of course skipping makes your guys less leveled but you can just catch up in part 3 anyway.

Pt 2 has a catchup mechanic that lets you auto level guys too, I am tempted to try that out. Like get someone who I don't want to use but make them a priest to get Res levels for pt 3.

repeating recruits is worth it because act 3 stats get merged, so you can do guzran in cai's path as a horse rider and get more defense, then go into myrmidon in Leda and focus on speed and dex, for example.

part 2 has no real rewards, so from a pure optimization perspective all part 1s first is stronger. but i wanted to see how theodora's story ended so i went straight into it and mostly got my ass kicked by long missions with lots of enemies :D

Finished Theodora Act 1. FW is definitely a lot of fun, but even at this early stage some of its seams and trade-offs are pretty obvious. Don't think it will land in my top FE games of the series. Also maybe I've been playing too many romhacks but it should be way gayer.
