Reading @annaleen.bsky.social 's wonderful "Autonomous" and came across a group of neurolinguists(!) in a bar talking about vowel spaces(!!) I like to think they just encountered this 2023 paper from Yulia Oganian and folks. Nice to imagine that our field will still have some juice in 100+ years!
