Oh I fucking loved this movie. Watched the new UHD release (I waited for years to see this one just to see it on the format) and I'm glad I waited. The creative and design energy here is as good as it gets, man. This is tremendous 50's Atomic Age sci-fi at its best.

Also, of everybody here, it's Geordie Walker who needs more love. Killing Joke were fucking tremendous (if you ever saw them live, you know...) Page Hamilton is kinda in the same vein as Walker, but Walkers metallic industrial tone was fucking insane and unique for the late 70s!

I played through Blood of Dawnwalker (my GOTY currently) and it's actually Fallout 2 with Vampires. Great fucking game. Still, there's some sequences in quests where major choices you made previously in the game aren't even accounted for in dialogue

When it comes to RPGs, when I do something in the game that the scripting doesn't account for, I totally get it because all the permutations have to be 'so' fucking hard to pinpoint in a massive ass game, but it still irks me.

When critics fawned over the Bowie mix of this over the Iggy mix, I really had to question their mental sanity. Bowie was an all-timer artist, but his pathetic shot at trying to tame the raw nastiness of The Stooges was about as fucking lame as it gets.

Huge favorite and the Criterion UHD fucking rules. A movie about a man so naive and delusional that he is blind to the passage of time around him. Pretty much a perfect cinematic portrayal of what it looks like to watch an empire come to an end.
