Resident Evil was excellent. I’m sad Zach Cregger won’t make another one because the neckbeards gave him such a hard time without seeing the movie. It’s a lot of fun and you can tell it was made by a video game nerd. Also way funnier than the trailers let on.

DC’s Absolute series has been really cool. Didn’t think I’d like Batman initially, but Scott Snyder’s weird feel and love of horror make it super fun. Martian Manhunter was equally as surprisingly good.

Hit a pretty sweet weight loss milestone today when I weighed myself. 255 on the dot. That’s exactly 60 pounds gone since October when I made the decision to cut out beer and go to the gym in earnest. Were I still working at my previous job, I’d never have done it.

Masters of the Universe was a lot of fun. Just dumb fun. Fisto was my first ever action figure and I loved that I got all the Fisto I wanted (which is about 15 minutes…enough Fisto for anyone). And…*sigh*…Jared Leto’s Skeletor was pretty great.
