The climactic sequence when Stone makes it back to Earth and crashes into the lake was filmed at Lake Powell in Arizona. This is the same lake used for astronaut Taylor's (Charlton Heston) crash in the first act of Planet of the Apes. 36/41

Throwing some numbers on it - there's about 830,000 Protestants in NI and about 35,000 of them are in the Orange Order - less than 1 in 25 - so Orangeism is not a culture, it's a small minority of a population with very unusual beliefs not typical even within Protestantism.

Absolutely. Interestingly, I read somewhere that Hal was cheating at chess - the game being recreated means that Hal is misleading Poole about the next few moves. Or if not cheating, on the glitch already.
