The three stories are so careful and clear, and the visual stuff of the film is so spectacular. I'd argue that the time gimmick is only dumb insofar as it's named explicitly by the movie - the interweaving stories would have worked fine without calling out the time frame.

God, the analogy is so clear from this. Hegseth is Trump's dog. He will be aggressive on behalf of his owner in situations that don't need aggression. He will bark at the government workers trying to help. He'll do unnecessary physical activities to prove that he's a good boy.

My neighborhood (Girard Estate) has ample parking - literally everyone will be at the shore - and is 6 blocks from the Oregon station, 1 stop from the stadiums. Or you can just walk down if the weather's alright. Happy to send some sandwich recs to a fellow Concord guy, too.
