Really cannot overemphasize that if you feel hopeless and furious over the state of things, go do something in your community. It’s not only what needs to happen, it feels SO good. It can be whatever you have capacity for. Go walk some shelter dogs if you can’t deal w people, that 100% counts.

I experienced a "boxer's break" in my dominant hand (due to a bike crash) and it was extremely eye opening. You too can experience a taste of it, just try wiping with your non-dominant hand. 😅😬

Are local folks who left FB hearing about the (mostly Ho-Chunk) people being profiled and harassed by ICE agents in the area the last few days? Tomah, La Crosse, and Osseo. Unfortunately light on details. One was reported as a solid black SUV. This is Ho-Chunk land and ICE should get off of it.

Some of what Trump is attempting to do is unlawful, but some of his shadier maneuvers will likely be supported by the courts. SCOTUS is on his side. I don't say this to discourage people, but as a reminder that the law cannot be our bottom line. Our obligation is to each other, not the law.
